The People Behind The Cup

Our Team

The Quadathlon Cup is built and run by a small core team, guided by an independent board of councils and panels, and delivered on the ground by coordinators in each host territory. This page sets out who does what, and how the structure fits together.

Academic Leadership

The academic standard of the competition is set by the Chief Academic Officer and supported by a curriculum lead who advises on how the events are designed and how the framework holds together across age groups.

Harry White
Harry White, MPhil, MS Director of Curriculum · Voluntary Advisory Position

Harry White is a curriculum specialist with two master's degrees in education and extensive experience across both the British Curriculum and the International Baccalaureate. He is currently pursuing a PhD in curriculum, bringing strong expertise in academically rigorous programme design, coherence and long-term curriculum development. He advises on the academic architecture of the six events and the coherence of the framework across age groups.

Director of Curriculum is a voluntary advisory position. Harry is also the event lead for The Linguistics Challenge and the Team Orienteering Challenge, and sits on the Academic Advisory Council.

Operations

Martin Jarvis
Martin Jarvis International Programme Director

Martin Jarvis brings fourteen years in international education, eleven of them overseas, including three years as Head of Year at Dulwich College Shanghai and six years as Head of Year at Doha College. He leads the operational side of the competition: school outreach and the round pipeline, host school partnerships, and the delivery of each round from run sheet and staffing through to materials, awards and safeguarding on the day. He is also the coordination point for regional and school outreach across the three hubs, with a particular focus on Asia.

Event Leads

Every event has one named lead who owns it outright. The lead is responsible for the quality of the material used in each round and each session, and for rebuilding that material against the curriculum framework at the start of every season, so an event does not drift as the competition grows. Leads report to the Chief Examiner.

No event is signed off by its own author alone. Where an event lead also holds a wider academic role, that event's materials are reviewed independently before release.

Event Coordinators

No round is run from a distance. Every regional and global round is delivered by a local team working alongside the host school. Coordinators are recruited and deployed by the International Programme Director, and take direction on the day from the lead of the event they are running. It is the route into an event lead role: coordinators who know an event well are the people best placed to own it.

Regional Coordinators

Appointed in each host territory to organise participating teams, recruit volunteers and teaching staff, and act as the local point of contact for schools in the run-up to a round.

On-the-Day Coordinators

Run the schedule on competition day: room and session timings, staffing ratios, materials and awards, and the handover between events alongside the host school team.

The core team works the rounds

Everyone on this page is also an event coordinator. On competition day the core team is on site running sessions alongside the local coordinators appointed in each host territory, which is how a small team delivers a round properly.

Additional coordinators for the 2026/27 season are being appointed now. Named local coordinators for each round will be listed here as host schools and territories are confirmed.

Work With Us

We are always interested in hearing from experienced educators, host schools and prospective coordinators who want to help bring the competition to their region.
