talent development and the design of academically challenging programmes for high-potential students.

Derek Laidlaw is an experienced international school leader with a strong track record in leading high-performing
British curriculum schools. He has served as Executive Principal of Oryx International School in Doha and previously
led King’s College, The British School of Alicante, achieving an Outstanding rating across all categories. He has
also held senior leadership roles at Doha College, bringing extensive experience in whole-school improvement,
international education and building world-class learning environments.
